Fulländad form ger ögat njutning och sinnet ro. Pornphun Sutthiprapha, HDK, beskriver hur hennes andning vandrade vidare till hennes händer, när hon formade föremålen. Det intima arbetet med leran försatte henne i ett meditativt tillstånd. Den känslan påverkar oss som ser hennes kärl. Hennes teoretiska bakgrund är buddhistisk filosofi. Texturen, föremålens skiftande blåhet, formsäkerheten tål att betraktas gång på gång. Objekt för meditation.

Aor Sutthiprapha has by means of the simplest possible methods crated a monumental and meditative piece that consists of several large decorated geometric and abstract forms. Her working methods are classical, she celebrates ceramic tradition: the jars are modelling and decorated which required the contemplation and serenity as the finished work also radiates. The process is time consuming, and she has shown exactly the tenacity it takes when you want to master the techniques but she dose so in a way that far exceeds what this techniques has been used previously. Her work appears powerful and harmonious, the decorated elements each bear small differences that invite the viewer to stop and enjoy the calmness, which arises if one surrender to beauty.
